Dexter Jackson and Jeremy Buendia clash on Instagram over “Bodybuilding is dying” comment
Just over three months before the 2018 Mr. Olympia Jeremy Buendia recently went on record and said that divisions like Men’s Physique have saved bodybuilding sports from dying. Jeremy currently touring the Philippines was doing an interview with a local TV station, he also stated that Men’s Open Bodybuilding as a division is dead.
Jeremy was referring to the decline in the numbers of bodybuilders competing in open bodybuilding division in recent years. The Bold statement comes with the wave of fans and athletes already questioning whether or not Classic Physique division is a sign that Men’s Open is on it’s way out the door.
But many fans and pros like Dexter Jackson doesn’t agree with Jeremy Buendia’s cocky statements. Dexter fired back on Jeremy on his Instagram breaking down every single reason that Jeremy Buendia is wrong. Men’s Open Bodybuilding is not dead and far from it.

After the heavy backlash on social media, Jeremy posted his explanation videos, stating that since a number of federations introduced Men’s Physique, Bikini, Wellness and Classic Physique, the industry has become more popular.
