Athletes wanting more money at bodybuilding shows just got their wish. A statement released by the IFBB Pro League and Tyler Manion on October 3, 2024, confirmed that the Men’s Open will be added to the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro; a total of $200,000 will be awarded with the winner taking home $100,000.
“Major Announcement:

The annual Jim Manion’s Pittsburgh Pro has become a staple event on the IFBB Pro League calendar. The show has a rich history, featuring competitors from varying divisions who have gone on to win Olympia titles in their respective bodybuilding divisions.
In 2024, the Pittsburgh Pro featured six divisions, which included Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, Women’s Physique, Wellness, Figure, and Bikini. However, with the Men’s Open now included, this leaves many of the league’s top contenders chomping at the bit to rake in a hefty cash prize.

Prize money has been a topic of concern within the bodybuilding community for years, and the league has listened. This bodybuilding season has already witnessed other changes in prize money for notable events, including the 2025 Arnold Classic. Arnold Schwarzenegger revealed that the second-most prestigious show of the year will award a staggering $500,000 to its Men’s Open winner.
That’s not the only high-profile event to see a major boost in prize earnings either. It was recently announced that the 2025 Dubai Pro will award more than $500,000 in overall prize money, which means it’s the third-highest payout available in the IFBB Pro League.
These exciting developments prove that bodybuilding continues to grow worldwide. Fans expect a massive turnout of top-tier Men’s Open competitors at the next Pittsburgh Pro show!
