Snatch
Olivia Reeves opened up with a 117-kilogram (257.9-pound) Snatch. It was heavier than her usual starting weights, which immediately indicated that she was preparing to put up her heaviest snatch yet. For her second attempt, Reeves added 5 kilograms (11 pounds) to the barbell, which did not change much for her, since she achieved another smooth lift.
Lastly, Olivia Reeves decided to load 125 kilograms (275.6 pounds) on the barbell, a weight that she had never completed in an official competition before. Regardless, it did not pose much of a challenge for Olivia, who caught the bar with ease and walked away with a new record after taking a moment to secure the lockout.
