Fitness influencer Connor Murphy’s passing is still rippling through the community. In an Instagram post from July 8, 2026, close friend Tony Huge claimed Murphy achieved ‘superhuman abilities’ before drowning in Thailand at 32.

On July 7, 2026, an emergency call came in after a foreign man was reported entering a lake inside a luxury residential village. According to ThaiRath, a village employee recorded the incident after Murphy began acting erratically. When police arrived, witnesses said Murphy swam until he was exhausted in water more than 10 meters deep.

After 30 minutes, rescue divers recovered his body 20 meters from the shore. An examination of his body showed no signs of assault, and authorities have planned an autopsy along with a toxicology report to make sense of the incident. To shed some light on the tragedy, Tony Huge discussed the events leading up to Murphy’s death.

“So, in the end, he drowned in his backyard lake. There’s a lot more things that led up to that, but that is how he ended up passing away, drowning. Up until his passing, he was discovering that he had achieved some superhuman abilities, and it’s no joke. He actually did achieve some superhuman abilities.”

He added that Murphy had reached a level of consciousness that most people will never experience:

“Connor, of course, his head has been outside the system since he was 18 because he became an influencer when he was 18.”

“He was on to something. He was on to many things. He was tapped into a level of consciousness that most people never will be. I just can’t believe the timing.”

While comments online have questioned Murphy’s mental health, Huge fired back against those insinuations.

“I really don’t like when the mainstream tries to discredit someone who has very good intent and who has a very valuable message based on one mistake or one failed experiment.”

“I know there’s going to be a lot of reactions, crazy this and crazy that, but I hope people will find the deeper message in what he was trying to teach.”

Huge believes Murphy was at peace with dying and likely felt ‘blissful’ in his final moments.

“It seems like a lot of the best friends I’ve had, the most interesting characters I’ve had, left this world really early. I can feel good about Connor’s outlook on the human experience and the afterlife,” he shared. “He definitely had no fear of death. He welcomed death, but not that he’d want to leave early because he had a lot he wanted to accomplish.”

“I can imagine at the time of his passing, it was very blissful, and he was probably welcoming it, the moment,” shared Huge. “He’s still there. His energy is still there, and his impact on the material world is everlasting.”

In 2023, fitness influencer Leo Longevity (Laith Abdullah Algaz) died at just 34 years old while living in the same Thailand residence as Huge. The house was reportedly ransacked, and the details surrounding Algaz’s death raised eyebrows. His body was found with blood around his nose and mouth.

Murphy’s final Instagram post showed him holding a portrait of the late Algaz. He moved his hand in a circular motion around Algaz’s throat. Some individuals in the comment section suggested this was proof Murphy actually killed Leo Longevity, though these claims are unfounded.

Additional details surrounding Murphy’s death are likely to surface soon. Fans await the autopsy and toxicology reports to find out what truly led to his passing.
