The Classic Physique division is seeing fiercer competitors every year and Anton Ratushnyi just added himself to the roster. After competing at the 2023 NPC National Championships in Irvine, Texas this weekend, Anton Ratushnyi became the youngest Classic Physique competitor to earn his IFBB pro card.

Anton Ratushnyi’s unbelievably impressive physique has earned plenty of attention as of late. Boasting incredible conditioning and symmetry, this young aesthetic bodybuilder has the potential to make a massive statement in the league but will face countless threats en route to pursuing the reigning five-time Classic Physique kingpin Chris Bumstead.

Chris Bumstead has dominated Classic Physique for five consecutive years. His physique is referred to as the ideal body type expected in his division, one he has been able to maintain throughout his career. Similar to Ratushnyi, Bumstead first competed when he was 19 and went on to earn his pro card after turning 21 in 2016. Just three years later, Cbum became the reigning champion who hasn’t faltered since.

Bringing his exquisite physique to one of the biggest amateur competitions, Anton Ratushnyi took the stage at the NPC National Championships in Irvine, Texas. After impressing the judges with his golden-era look, Ratushnyi earned his IFBB Pro card and became the youngest Classic Physique competitor in the federation.

Several bodybuilders have achieved professional status at a young age, with notable examples such as Jeff Seid obtaining his pro card at the age of 19 in Men’s Physique. Anton Ratushnyi stands out as another impressive talent in the sport, showcasing immense potential and establishing himself as a noteworthy contender. As he continues to compete, Ratushnyi will only improve when it comes to posing and perfecting his already incredible form.

Classic Physique has seen the rise of several talents that all share not only the potential but also the desire to dethrone Chris Bumstead. Urs Kalecinski earned his pro card at just 21 years old in 2019 and since then has been training with some of bodybuilding’s biggest names including Bumstead. Urs took third place at the 2023 Mr. Olympia.

Ramon Rocha Queiroz is another incredible rival in Classic Physique who took gold at the 2023 Arnold Classic, the second most prestigious competition in the sport. Just a few months later, Queiroz earned second place, falling behind Chris Bumstead, at Mr. Olympia.

With so much talent overflowing in the Classic Physique division, fans look forward to next year’s competitions. Considering Anton Ratushnyi’s impressive achievements in the sport, it will be exciting to see what he accomplishes now that he earned his IFBB pro card.
