This archive covers professional and amateur bodybuilding events across multiple federations and eras. It includes marquee contests such as the Mr. Olympia, the Arnold Classic, regional pro shows, amateur championships, and natural competitions.
Qualification rules, awards, and prize money vary by federation, season, and event.
Event Tiers
- Olympia: The pinnacle of professional bodybuilding, held annually since 1965
- Arnold Classic: Second only to the Olympia, founded by Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1989
- Pro Show: Professional events that may award direct qualification or count toward season qualification under the governing federation's current rules
- Amateur: NPC and IFBB amateur competitions for aspiring professionals
- Natural: Drug-tested competitions for natural athletes

An index of contests, not a ruling on them
This is the list of contests the database holds, with the year, location and result count recorded for each one. What you see is what the filters return. It is not a judgement about which shows matter or how they rank against each other.
- The year filter runs from 1934 to the current season. A contest with no recorded year cannot appear under a year filter.
- Event tier is a browsing label used to group shows. It says nothing about prize money or qualification status, which vary by federation and season.
- Search matches the contest name, location and city. It does not search athlete names.
- Contests showing no result count are either still to come or have no placements recorded yet. An empty field means we have nothing sourced, never a zero.
- Placeholder rows carried by the source listings, such as calendar and index entries, are filtered out rather than shown as contests.
