Sam Sulek continues to make waves as a bodybuilder, despite having yet to compete professionally. His popularity reached the desk of Classic Physique titans Chris Bumstead and Urs Kalecinski recently, as seen in a reel shared via Instagram.

At just 21 years old, Sam Sulek‘s demeanor and physique have turned him into a fitness icon. To give you a taste of how popular and noteworthy he’s become, Sulek has only posted a total of 12 times on Instagram, yet boasts 3.4 million followers. His efforts have already seen him sign a sponsorship deal with Fouad Abiad’s Hosstile supplement company.

Chris Bumstead & Urs Kalecinski Weigh Sam Sulek’s Impact in Bodybuilding: “I Like This Guy”

After Urs Kalecinski brought up Sulek, Chris Bumstead gave his thoughts on the rising influencer:

“Sam Sulek, you know him?” asks Urs Kalecinski.

“Oh yeah. He is taking over the world,” replied Bumstead.

“Every fucking thousand subscribers YouTuber is sitting in his car right now and clipped the fucking mic on his head,” laughed Kalecinski.

“It’s kind of nice to see you know?” says Cbum. “It’s a shift. I like this guy. I’m gonna retire and just fucking — he can take the reigns over.”

The reigning five-time Classic Physique kingpin wasn’t the only bodybuilder to bring up Sulek. Retired IFBB Pro Lee Priest discussed his influence in the sport recently. While speculation surrounds Sulek’s use of performance-enhancing drugs, Priest cautioned him to prioritize a gradual and intelligent approach to adding mass.

Bodybuilding standout Seth Feroce also took a closer look at the Sam Sulek effect. Feroce advised those trashing Sam’s diet to focus on themselves instead. According to Feroce, Sam Sulek is far more mature than he was at 21 and, like Priest, believes he has a bright future in the sport.

Sulek and Samson Dauda went viral after posing together. Even though Dauda weighs up to 295 pounds on stage, fans were impressed with Sulek’s mass and definition standing alongside one of the world’s best. Weeks ago, Dauda cemented himself as the number three bodybuilder in the world at 2023 Mr. Olympia.

Fans hope to see Sam Sulek make his way to a bodybuilding stage sometime soon. Regardless, it’s evident there’s a massive demand to see him train, pose, and eat in the meantime.
