Figure IFBB Pro Bodybuilder Cintia Goldani Has Passed Away at 36

According to reports, Goldani succumbed to a blood clot stemming from pneumonia complications.

The bodybuilding community is mourning the loss of Cintia Goldani, a budding IFBB Pro bodybuilder from the Figure division, who lived in Rio Grande do Sul. Reports of her tragic passing circulated online on June 26, 2024, which was first revealed by the Musclecontest International Instagram handle. It appears a pulmonary embolism caused by pneumonia complications led to her death. Local authorities revealed that she was rushed to the hospital but to no avail. 

“Cynthia was an angel in human form. God needed backup in heaven,” shared the Instagram account. 

Despite her status as a relative newcomer in the IFBB Pro League, Cintia Goldani quickly garnered a following thanks to her symmetry, muscle volume, and impressive conditioning levels. She boasted feathered quads on stage and appeared to be on an upward trajectory as a bodybuilding talent.

In her last professional showing, Goldani proved herself against a stiff lineup at the 2023 Musclecontest Brazil Pro. Ultimately, she landed in 10th place, though displayed one of the best looks of her bodybuilding career. With over 22,000 Instagram followers, Goldani loved providing content to her audience, having regularly shared physique updates, meals, and training sessions online.

At just 36 years old, Cintia Goldani leaves the world behind. Her cause of death was due to pneumonia complications. 

In light of the devastating news, fans swarmed her comment section to extend their condolences: 

“May everything be peaceful in your passage, may the family be comforted by the creator. Great athlete.”

“God receive you, go in peace champion” 

“My sincere condolences to all family and friends!” 

“Rest in peace 🙏🏿”

Her partner, Gustavo Cesar, also relayed his sadness over the gut-wrenching loss: 

‘Happy smiling and with that wonderful energy, you were the best human being I have ever met in the world!
‘I wish I could thank you for everything you’ve done for me, but I will thank you every day when I see the sunset…’

‘Thank you Cíntia, you are made of pure true love and God wanted you closer to him and away from this evil of the world.” shared via Daily Mail. 

She quickly found her footing in the IFBB’s Figure category, which has become increasingly more challenging given its popularity. Goldani was known for her loving energy and positivity which were on display anytime she graced a bodybuilding stage. 

She is the latest of several young bodybuilders to die too soon. Cristhian Annes met his untimely fate at 34 years old waiting on a life-saving kidney transplant, Kristyn Lia tragically passed away at 37 with no cause of death revealed. Then, natural bodybuilding talent Michael Chidozie lost his life at the tender age of 26 after being shot multiple times by his wife
