Here’s How To Watch Dubai CrossFit Championship Sanctional Qualifier

The upcoming Dubai CrossFit Championship in the United Emirates will be the fourth sanctional competition which will qualify top athletes (male, female, and team) for the 2020 CrossFit Games

So, it’s a big event for all competitors participating not to mention there’s a very attractive payout for those who can finish at the top of the heap. So attractive in fact, that that this event pays more than the other sanctional competitions for 2020. 

Here are the prize money details for individuals and team

Individuals

  • 1st Place ($50,000)
  • 2nd Place ($30,000)
  • 3rd Place ($20,000)

Individual athletes will also have the opportunity to earn $3,000 for workout wins in the final.

Teams

  • 1st ($20,000)
  • 2nd ($10,000)
  • 3rd ($5,000)

You can watch the Dubai CrossFit Championship for free on their YouTube page which will stream this Wednesday through Saturday (11-14) local UAE time, Gulf Standard Time (GMT + 4). Times are subject to change.

There will be several elite athletes including the top two Open finishers for the 2020 season, Patrick Vellner (2018 CrossFit Games runner-up) for the men’s side and Sara Sigmundsdottir for the women. Not to mention, the 2015 and 2016 women’s CrossFit Games champion Katrin Davidsdottir will also be competing.

So, with these big names and a few more we didn’t include, the anticipation should be high as we’ll see many tough competitors pushing their limits in an effort to achieve the top spots.
