Eddie Hall may have retired from professional Strongman competitions, but that hasn’t stopped him from pursuing other fitness endeavors, such as dabbling in martial arts. In a recent X post, Eddie Hall revealed that he outscored MMA fighter Alex Pereira’s record on a punching machine.

Within the Strongman community, Eddie Hall is a legendary figure, celebrated for his awe-inspiring displays of strength. In 2016, Hall etched his name in history by shattering the record for the heaviest conventional deadlift at a jaw-dropping 500 kilograms (1,102 pounds). That very next year, Eddie Hall clinched the prestigious title of World’s Strongest Man, cementing his place among the all-time greats in strength sports.

While Eddie Hall has since stepped away from Strongman competitions, he has only just gotten started on martial arts. In 2022, the strongman great stepped into the boxing ring to take on Hafthor Bjornsson, whom he has had a rivalry with since Hall’s win in 2017 where Bjornsson felt he was robbed. Ultimately, Eddie Hall lost by a unanimous decision.

Eddie Hall also made a surprise Pro Wrestling debut for his son where he impressed everyone with his ability to crush all of his opponents. In addition to Hall, other strongman talents like Brian Shaw have decided to start training MMA.

Flaunting his strength, Hall took to X where he bested UFC light heavyweight fighter Alex Pereira’s score on a punching machine.

“The record is 191 (thousand)” Eddia Hall said.

Having initially scored a 168,000, Eddie Hall gives it another go, earning a 208,000, completely obliterating the previous record of 191,000.

In the world of UFC and kickboxing, Alex Pereira screams greatness, thanks to his remarkable power, agility, and endurance. Having elevated his name as a combat sports star thanks to victories over Israel ‘The Last Stylebender’ Adesanya, fans of the sport have quickly backed him as one of the most entertaining fighters on earth to watch.

In addition to his impressive striking, Hall put in the work while sparring. However, it seems ‘The Beast’ met his match with a Russian sparring partner after being knocked out. While he didn’t lose consciousness or have any lasting damage, Hall did request a break following the intense kick to the head.

Even years after his retirement, Eddie Hall’s strength is on constant display. While it may not be the all-time elephant bar deadlift world record, he continues to shock the world with shocking feats of power.
