Talk about a birthday suit! After recognizing that he had overlooked his well-being over the last few months, Lewis committed to making a change to his physical fitness heading into his special day. Now, Flex Lewis is proudly flaunting his improved physique in a recent update he shared on Instagram.
Flex Lewis has established himself as the greatest bodybuilder the 212 division has ever seen. ‘The Welsh Dragon’ won the title for seven consecutive years from 2012 to 2018. His incomparable physique has seen him beat big names like Hadi Choopan and Derek Lunsford, who both have made the move to the Men’s Open and later became champions.
While Lewis had contemplated a future in competitive bodybuilding, he ultimately decided to call it quits and retire from the sport. The Welsh Dragon would consider returning, but only for a seven-figure check. Even though he has stepped away from the stage, Lewis is still focused on maintaining his incredible conditioning and muscle mass.
Flex Lewis has been pushing his body’s limits in the gym, but a few months ago, he was determined to get into the best shape of his life for his birthday. Turning the big 4-0 prompted Lewis to become ‘bigger, stronger, and faster.’ He kicked off his transformation, though he faced some trouble with a back injury.
