Notes from CrossFit on Open Workout 20.2
This workout begins with the dumbbells on the floor and the athlete standing tall. After the call of “3, 2, 1 … go,” the athlete may begin performing thrusters. After 4 reps of thrusters are completed, the athlete will advance to a pull-up bar to perform toes-to-bars. After 6 reps of toes-to-bars are completed, the athlete will move to a jump rope and complete 24 double-unders before returning to the thrusters for the next round.
The athlete’s score will be the total number of repetitions completed before the 20-minute time cap.

“When it rains it pours.
This was a gut check. 24h after being dropped on 20.1, 20.3 or 18.4 was released with two movements I have struggled with in the past.
My fight for a qualifying spot in the 2020 OPEN is over, but I’m of the firm belief that if you decide to do something, you finish it and you give it your best effort.
I felt like I did that today. Not in the best headspace and easy to drown yourself in negativity given the circumstances and workout ahead of me.
Goal was to finish the workout. And I did. Just.
On to 20.4.
DISCLAIMER – don’t do this at home.
if any of your members look like me on the deadlifts. Stop them. Immediately. I’m a competitor, I know the risk but chose to push through.”
