Actor Hugh Jackman Shows Off Bicep Gains with Wolverine Body Transformation for ‘Deadpool 3’

Jackman continues to make strides in the gym as he prepares to reprise his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3 with Ryan Reynolds.

Australia’s Hugh Jackman is one step closer to slicing and dicing up his enemies as X-Men’s breakout character Wolverine. In a recent Instagram post, Jackman offered a glimpse into his arm workout with a set of seated dumbbell curls. 

Implementing ‘old school’ practices to build his physique, Hugh Jackman made it clear that he never used steroids to sculpt his body for any role as Wolverine. At 55 years old, Jackman remains dedicated to a healthy lifestyle, often sharing his diet and training preferences on social media. 

From sprint training sessions to grueling core workouts led by his personal trainer, Beth Lewis, Jackman is leaving no stone unturned in his pursuit of a superhero-caliber body. Captivating audiences for over a decade, Jackman first assumed the anti-hero role of Wolverine in The Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2011. As of late, Jackman continues to lean out while adding muscle to play the gritty comic book character.

Whether it’s a leg day routine or an upper-body-focused workout, Hugh Jackman intends to bring his best to the big screen when it’s showtime. With months to build his physique, the excitement surrounding his movie role is building.

55-yo Hugh Jackman Shares Arm-Focused Workout As He Transforms His Physique for ‘Deadpool 3’ 

Aiming to bring the character to life, Jackman showcased his latest arm training session via Instagram.

Hugh Jackman hasn’t been the only high-profile actor to share a behind-the-scenes look at how he transforms his physique. Michael Jae White recently conquered a challenging back workout, which he’s used before to improve his body for various movie roles. Above all else, he prioritizes clean eating, ‘a lot of cardio,’ and strength and conditioning sessions. 

While fans are thrilled to see Jackman and Ryan Reynolds taking on bad guys, they might have to wait a while longer. Deadpool 3 joined Mission Impossible 8 and Venom 3 as films that were halted as a result of an actors’ strike.

Despite that, Jackman’s updates have attracted the attention of some big names. Even bodybuilding legend and former eight-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger was impressed with the actor’s progress. 

Fans and bodybuilders alike are waiting for Hugh Jackman’s epic return as Wolverine. Considering the success of the X-Men franchise, it appears ‘Deadpool 3’ will be well worth the wait once production wraps up.
