Hunter Henderson may not have a lot of competition experience, but she is certainly making an impression already. It will be easy to understand why, when you check out some of the work she was recently doing in the gym.

Henderson is a 24 year old powerlifter, who has only been competing since 2018. However, in that time, she has participated in three different meets, scoring first place each time. Her last competition was at the 2019 Apeman Elite, where she took first in the +148lb division, going 8/9 on her lifts. This has resulted in her capturing the attention of many people, who can see her serious potential.

If that performance was not enough for you to see how promising Henderson is as an athlete, there is more. Her Instagram page is littered with gym footage, demonstrating how hard she is working to improve. Take for example, this recent video of her in the gym, crushing a 565lb squat, while using a chamber bar. Moreover, as if squatting more than 3 times her bodyweight was not enough, she added 120lb chains to her bar, for a little more of an impact.

Check it out:

“12 weeks out feelz!šŸ”„ Camber bar is my favšŸ˜šŸ˜ˆ Broke out the black @ironrebel outlaw wraps today!

565 + 120 in chain”

Henderson completely crushed this lift, not even needing the spotters she had. Still not convinced? Take a look at this epic 552lb deadlift double then, and you will certainly be impressed.

“Hand got caught up on my pants a little on the first rep so I made sure to hold the second a little longer. Tried out @zonesmellingsalts for the first time tonight and all I gotta say is WOWšŸ˜…

552×2 off a 1ā€block”

Sure, Hunter Henderson did this lift off of a one inch block, but she overcame a little slip up on the first rep, to finish strong. She will competing at her first meet of the year in a few weeks. Watching her grow like this shows how she is certainly another exciting prospect to watch this year.
