Jay Cutler is insinuating that there could be a shakeup at the 2025 Pittsburgh Pro. On April 8, 2025, he called Michal Krizanek a big problem for the lineup, and believes his conditioning is better than Derek Lunsford’s and Nick Walker’s.

Krizo’s rise in the Men’s Open class has been extraordinary. He’s continued to make giant leaps in the IFBB Pro League circuit from season to season. In 2024, he claimed bronze at the Empro Classic Pro, where he came up short to runner-up Behrooz Tabani and champion William Bonac. His Olympia aspirations were put on hold after he sustained a shoulder injury.

After a lengthy recovery, Krizo has expressed interest in two shows: the Pittsburgh Pro and the New York Pro. With the first event approaching on May 10-11, Cutler gave his take on the Slovakian bodybuilder’s chances in his next outing.

Jay Cutler Believes Michal Krizo’s Conditioning Looks Better Than Derek Lunsford’s and Nick Walker’s Weeks Before Pittsburgh Pro

In a recent YouTube video, Cutler predicted Krizo could be on track to show off the biggest physique transformation of the year after dealing with shoulder issues.

“You got Goodvito in there too, who else do we have? Yeah, Krizo. We don’t know how he looks. That transformation might be the biggest transformation of the year. I mean, they showed him small when he had his surgery,” he shared

Cutler argued Krizo could be a huge problem for the Open lineup in Pittsburgh with a better back.

“I couldn’t believe how small he got, and he looks astounding [now],” said Cutler. “If that guy had a back, and he had bigger hamstrings, yeah, if he’s changed even a little bit [from three years ago], that guy is a big problem. He’s got the condition.”

Comparing his condition to Derek Lunsford and Nick Walker at this stage of prep, Cutler believes Krizo has them both beat in that department.

“Looking at him now, he has the best condition in pictures that I’ve seen of any of the guys leading up to the contest, including Derek, Nick, and all these guys.”

Krizo has put his foot on the gas pedal ahead of his return. This meant adhering to a strict diet, which he detailed recently, where most of his meals were structured around maximizing protein. He also gave an abs and back workout blueprint that he’s used throughout preparations.

The 2025 Pittsburgh Pro is already being hailed as the ‘show of the year’ by bodybuilding coach Chris Aceto. If Krizo picks up the win, it would catapult his name into title contention at the 2025 Mr. Olympia, proving he can get past big-name Pros like Martin Fitzwater, Walker, and Lunsford.
