Early Life

Julia Gilas was born in Ukraine in 1985, and is now a social media superstar that is admired worldwide for her beautiful physique, and the methods she uses to maintain that.

At one time after arriving to the United States, she talked about her life in Ukraine as difficult. She said the winters were cold and snowy, and the summers were very humid and exactly the opposite. Although she grew up in a home without a lot of money, she was a fairly normal kid that rode her bike and played with her friends.

That normal kid lifestyle wouldn’t last long, as Julia Gilas was destined for stardom.

While in Ukraine, Julia Gilas always had the feeling that there was something better out there for her in the world. She was living in an area where Internet and basic human services were out of reach sometimes. All she wanted to do was have a dream, and see it through.

So she did.

When Julia Gilas was 14, she attended modelling school and saw a life that would thrive for her. It was only two years later when she left home to become a successful model in Europe.

Julia Gilas fed the travel bug and knew that modelling was within her reach, and intuitively understood that a better life was out there for her.

On her website she describes a desire to leave Ukraine that “burned inside.”

“Starting from a very early age, I knew there had to be more. As I began to dream more, the desire to leave my city in Ukraine burned inside of me….My modelling work in Europe gave the opportunity to travel and see much more of the world. I believe education comes in many forms beyond school and books, and my education came from my traveling the world and learning from others I met along the way.”

By the age of 24, Julia Gilas had her sight set on the United States of America. She would become a citizen within five years.

Today, Julia Gilas is now a model living in Southern California, with her three languages of Russian, Ukraine, and English, and using them to on multiple social media channels to teach people how to live a healthier lifestyle.

It was not an easy road for Julia Gilas by any means though. During her early modeling days, Julia’s ambition began to overcome her life. With that came some unhealthy choices that resulted in poor health.

The busier she was, the more her energy and health depleted. Julia Gilas found the world of modeling tiring and grueling, and it became increasingly difficult to eat right, sleep right, and stay strong. Her website notes,

“As I got older, I began to realize that modeling was grueling, and my health was beginning to suffer because of it. Many of the models around me looked great on the outside, but they were unhealthy because of the lifestyle. I’d see them eating junk food and drinking multiple energy drinks throughout the day to keep going and this would go on day after day. I started researching and reading up on how to become truly healthy.”

Julia Gilas’ health suffered intensely, and she was smart enough to recognize that. With that, Julia Gilas began to take better control of her life, and a life long journey of making healthier choices began.

She now shares those choices with the world.

Julia Gilas Competition and Career

Once Julia Gilas landed in the United States, her life never stopped changing. That is the life of a highly sought after model. After Julia got her health back on track, she found that she loved the lifestyle of eating right and working out. She loved it so much she decided to bring that passion into her career.

Julia Gilas has always known that learning more, such as taking modeling classes, and expanding on her three languages, is the key to honing her brain to reach for success and get it. She knew she could do that in the fitness world, and she did.

Today, Julia Gilas teaches the world how to live a healthier life, and it is part of her own personal success model. She writes about that on her website, saying,

“That’s how I got started in fitness. I was eating poorly, not exercising, and I was simply unhealthy. I wanted to change that, so I did.”

Part of the success path of Julia Gilas was tapping into her intuition to find those lucky stars. And she did, though she was not an overnight success.

Instead, Julia Gilas became a true success through a lot of trial and error, and a few lucky breaks. She now lives a beautiful life where she teaches others how to be successful, and functions as a brand sponsor.

Now, Julia Gilas is busy with a healthy living lifestyle, for work, and for personal growth.

Julia Gilas has typical days that start around 6:00 a.m., and begin with workouts and healthier food. It’s a busy life, but a dream life for her. When she is not working on photo shoots, she is working on her YouTube fitness channel, and tending to her followers on Instagram and other social media outlets.

After that, quiet time to herself, with her dog and her cat, is preferred, and she likes to watch movies in her rare downtime.

Julia Gilas trains five days weekly at least, and she likes to rest on Friday and Sunday if she can. Every single training includes one gym session, and one cardio session which she performs after her gym work. Staying fit and toned are Julia’s objectives, as she works in the modeling industry and needs to keep up her overall physical fitness.

The workout routine of Julia Gilas changes on occasion.

She does cardio every single day but Friday and Sunday. Monday’s gym workout is full-body workout, Tuesday’s workout is HIIT, Wednesday she works her legs and Thursday are her abs. Saturdays is the day she focuses on her glutes, in between her two rest days.

She tries to cut down on the carbs, but includes complex carbohydrates into her routine when she can. If she brings fats into the diet, Julia Gilas prefers to use fats such as avocados.

Julia Gilas’ average daily diet consists of 1,431 calories, that includes 215 g protein, 83 g carbohydrates, and 24 g fat.

Julia Gilas supplements this with whey protein and green tea extract.
