Will we see Kai Greene at Mr. Olympia 2019?
Dave Polumbo and the Chief Olympia Officer Dan Solomon sat down via video interview to discuss a range of topics but the one which attracted the most attention was Kai Greene’s future in the IFBB!
Dave Palumbo asked Dan Solomon whether or not Kai got a special invite to the Olympia this year and the response from Dan Solomon was..
“it’s no secret that I did meet with Kai, we had a great meeting I really enjoyed talking to him.
We did make it very clear to Kai that we would very much like him to have him at the Olympia and that we wanted to work through various ways to make that happen.”
“There has been no commitment made,” Dan said regarding Kai’s decision to come back to the Olympia. “We made it very clear to Kai Greene that we want him to compete at the 2019 Mr. Olympia and we certainly want to make him as welcome and make it as clear to the fans and to everybody around the World that Kai Greene is somebody who I believe makes the Mr. Olympia a more compelling contest. I feel that way about Phil Heath as well.”

“And we, of course, want the best in the World, that’s the reason why this event is sanctioned by the IFBB Professional League which of course is home to the very best in the World and Kai is no exception. He’s a part of that and we would love to have him there.”
Dan Solomon made it clear several times during the interview that the offer is on the table for Kai Greene and the ball is in his court...
“Kai knows how to reach me, he knows how to reach most of us who are tied to the event and I would love for the fans to see that because I think it would be very very exciting.”
