“I will be back! #Kriger Two weeks ago I was in surgery for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on my left wrist🤚🏼This is something I have struggled with for over a year and there was just no way around it anymore.
I had the same surgery on my right wrist in November 2016 and for those of you who remember Meridian Regionals 2017, you know that it ended pretty well. 🏆☺️”
But she’s recovering quite nicely and expects to have full function of her hand in about 4 weeks.
“Recovery is going great and I should be back to using my hand as normal in about 4 weeks. In the meantime I am biking, running and building super strong legs. #NoExcuse I do believe that every injury or setback is a great opportunity to learn, grow and come back stronger and better than ever.
So that is what I am going to do! ✨ #IWillBeBack Thanks to @Apexklinikken for the support and help with recovery.”

Kristin Holte is a native of Norway who has qualified for the CrossFit Games every year since 2013 when she placed 7th at the Europe Regional. But she’s been pretty successful thus far even dealing with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and hopefully, it does propose an issue for her moving forward.
We wish her a speedy recovery so that she can get back to training and competing at a high level.
For those CrossFit Athletes similar to Kristin who suffer from Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Ovation Hand Institute performs a completely non-surgical, office-based procedure that takes 15 minutes per hand, and will have you resuming normal activities in 7 days.
