Larry Wheels is putting his athleticism to a new test. In an Instagram post from June 14, 2026, he confirmed his RAF12 wrestling debut against Mike ‘The Real Tarzann’ Holston, set for August 22 in Cleveland, Ohio’s Rocket Arena.

“NEW CHALLENGE. NEW CHAPTER. August 22nd, I’ll be making my wrestling debut at RAF12. I’m looking forward to learning, improving, and embracing every part of this journey. See you on the mats in Cleveland.”

Wheels remains one of the strongest powerlifters on the planet. In a change of pace, he transitioned into professional bodybuilding. The two often don’t go hand-in-hand, but Wheels made it work. He scored second place at the 2023 Amateur Olympia and leveraged the experience in his next outings.

At the 2025 Musclecontest Ireland, Wheels earned his IFBB Pro card. That same weekend, he took 10th place at the Musclecontest Bullman Pro. Beyond the stage, Wheels continues to capture the fitness community’s attention, from arm wrestling to slapping influencers. Now, his focus has turned to the first wrestling match of his career.

After being called a ‘washed-up lifter,’ Wheels made it clear he wants to make a statement at the RAF12 event. He’ll face off against Holston, who is known for viral wildlife content, including interactions with snakes and big cats.

“The internet has been really grinding my gears lately. People have been saying I’m a washed-up lifter, I’m not an athlete, I’m stiff, I can’t fight. I want to take tonight and use this opportunity with the RAF platform to challenge Holston to a match and prove everybody wrong.”

“Tarzan is known for wrestling cats and snakes, but let’s see how he can handle a real animal,” shared Wheels.

Fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts on the match-up:

“Tarzan bout to grab him like alligator and do a barrel roll with him and body slam him into a theoretical swamp . 😂”

“About to witness what will look like 2 new born giraffes on ice 💪”

“Tarzann is a legit grappler with multiple years under his belt. Larry has been training for 3 weeks.”

“Ooooh Larry is getting smoked 😂

“Larry can’t fight 😂”

RAF (Real American Freestyle) Wrestling has become one of the newest attractions in the combat sports space. The promotion has seen an influx of high-profile combat athletes step onto the mats, including former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson and contender Arman Tsarukyan.

With a new goal in his crosshairs, fans are curious if Wheels can pull off the win despite a lack of experience. RAF12 takes place on August 22, live on FOX Nation.
