As one of the 2024 bodybuilding season’s biggest surprises, Martin Fitzwater will aim to continue his success this October. In a recent Instagram reel, ‘The Martian’ detailed his full day of eating in preparation for the 2024 Mr. Olympia, taking place October 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Martin Fitzwater shocked the Men’s Open category this year after going up against some of the division’s finest. During the 2024 Detroit Pro, Fitzwater secured an incredible victory and his ticket to the Mr. Olympia stage, defeating runner-up Vitalii Goodvito.

Even with his qualification, Martin Fitzwater wasn’t ready to step off the competitive stage. Instead, he decided to test himself against the best of the best at the 2024 New York Pro show. This is where his true grit and determination became apparent when he went toe-to-toe with Nick Walker. Ultimately, ‘The Martian’ would miss the win by just one point, coming in second place to Walker.

Martin Fitzwater previously discussed his goals for the upcoming Mr. Olympia with bodybuilding coach Chris Aceto. ‘The Martian’ revealed that he knew he didn’t bring his best to Detroit but he intends to for the Olympia. He also shared that he simply wants to make it into the first call-out.

“The goal is first call-out,” Martin Fitzwater says. “Getting compared with the big boys, that’s all that matters to me.”

Considering how strong he started off the 2024 bodybuilding season, fans can only imagine what will transpire in the next few months. Having made it abundantly clear he intends to stand with the big boys, Martin Fitzwater is certainly going to put on a show at the Mr. Olympia this October.
