Max Shethar may be just 17 years old, but he is just a tad stronger than average. This teenage powerlifter was in the gym recently, pulling some absolutely massive weight.

Shethar is a legendary powerlifting prospect, who has been making some massive waves in the sport. This –125kg lifter has been doing some incredible things. Perhaps his biggest accolade came last October, where he became the youngest person to deadlift 722lb in competition.

However, like the hungry athlete he is, Max is not satisfied there. He recently posted a video to Instagram, really showing off his progress. Here, he hit a massive 750lb deadlift, ppwering through it, even when it was clearly difficult. Not only that, but apparently this was a part of a massive 1,820lb sleeved gym total.

“750lbs deadlift at 17 years old, 1820 sleeved gym total”

Although the rest of 1820lb total was not shown in the video, it was surely crazy to see. To put that in perspective, Shether’s best competition total is 1725lb. Even though it is a sleeves total, the fact that it is nearly 100lb heavier is ultra impressive.

Shethar has been showing a massive amount of improvement, in all areas of his game. In fact, just a day prior to this deadlift, he crushed a massive 420lb bench press, for a new PR. It looked nearly like a warm up set, even with the pause. Here he is, tearing through that crazy bench.

Max Shethar continues to show, day in and day out, that he is constantly growing and improving. It will be very exciting to see how he looks, the next time he is able to compete. However, that may be a while, considering the current coronavirus concerns. Regardless, that will just give him some more time to improve, and perhaps set some new records when he finally arrives.
