Nick Walker is in the heat of his prep and has made alterations to his diet ahead of the 2024 Mr. Olympia. In a recent YouTube video, ‘The Mutant’ walked fans through a full day of eating as well as how he plans to approach the peaking process for the biggest event of the year.

“We don’t miss peaks, so I’m definitely excited but I’m definitely tired,” says Walker.

Nick Walker is giving it his all during his Olympia prep after being sidelined last year due to a hamstring and calf tear. This year, Walker wants to accomplish the ultimate comeback and silence those naysayers once and for all. However, ‘The Mutant’ isn’t fueling himself on the negative energy alone.

After previously revealing his ‘high’ full day of eating a few weeks back, Walker has once again taken to YouTube, where he revealed his adapted diet following the changes his coach made with just two weeks until he appears on the 2024 Mr. Olympia stage.

Nick Walker Talks Peaking Process for 2024 Mr. Olympia, Shares Full Day of Eating

With his coach Matt Jansen changing up the food plan, Walker offered some insight on how they plan to approach the final stages of prep and the peaking process.

“We are going to do another day of eating since Matt changed the plan up a little bit. Definitely lowered the food so we are going to be pushing a little hard for these final probably a couple of weeks until we leave for Vegas which is perfectly fine.”

While Nick Walker reveals that both he and his coach are happy with his progress, they have reined in his eating to ensure he brings the conditioning necessary to stand out on the Mr. Olympia stage.

“He is happy with where I’m at and I’m definitely happy with where I’m at. So, but we just want to make sure that we leave no stones left unturned so we’re just going to push the conditioning, be mindful of obviously of not going crazy crazy too flat but definitely we are coming to push the conditioning and then it is pretty simple for me to fill out so we’ll be able to fill out pretty properly.”

Meal 1

  • 200 Grams of Steak (Megafit)
  • 140 Grams of Jasmine Rice
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Pink Salt

As Walker prepared his first meal, he explained how his carbs would lessen as he gets closer to the event.

“That’s it for meal one. That’s basically going to be how the day goes. The carbs will drop as the day continues but yeah, that’s basically how we’re looking right now.”

Meal 2 (Pre-workout)

  • 200 Grams of Chicken
  • 200 Grams of Jasmine Rice
  • Hot Sauce
  • Pink Salt
  • Ground Cinnamon

With his next meal, Walker goes over his training for the day.

“After I eat this in about an hour, we’re going to go train back and probably a little hamstring. So yeah, we’re just moving and grooving baby.”

Meal 3 (Post-workout)

  • 200 Grams of Chicken
  • 140 Grams of Jasmine Rice
  • Tabasco Sauce
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Pink Salt

After finishing a solid session in the gym, Walker enjoys his third meal while emphasizing that he isn’t letting up on his training.

“Great session. Obviously, fatigue is starting to set in quicker than normal. But strength is still relatively high which I am happy about so you know, I’m just going to keep training as heavy as I can going into the show just not letting off the pedal.”

Meal 4

  • 200 Grams of Chicken
  • 140 Grams of Jasmine Rice
  • Tabasco Sauce
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Pink Salt

Nick Walker’s meals become a little redundant as he eats the same thing, but reduces the rice with each meal.

“Literally just the same meals over and over again,” shares Walker. “But guess what? Guess what next meal is going to be? The same thing, just a little less rice!”

Meal 5

  • 200 grams of chicken
  • 90 grams of jasmine rice
  • 100 grams of cucumber
  • Tabasco sauce
  • pink salt
  • ground cinnamon

While many of Walker’s meals look similar, he doesn’t mind doing what has to be done to bring an all-time best physique.

“I am already half way done with this. I kind of want to keep eating it for the little bit that’s left. So before my last meal I will talk about it [my headspace for 2024 Mr. Olympia].

Meal 6

  • 200 grams of steak (Megafit)
  • 100 grams of cucumbers
  • Tabasco sauce
  • pink salt

As for his mindset, Walker emphasized that he’s in a really good place just days from storming the big stage.

“Mindset let’s just talk about it. Honestly guys, I’m in a good spot. I feel really good going into this Olympia this year. I am actually like I said, because I’m staying covered up which is not something I’m used to doing.

I kind of like it because now as much as all these news reporters or whatever are upset about it, I think it’s just going to bring a lot of shock value to the stage and I’m excited for that. I think that’s a really big thing. Overall, mindset is good.”

Judging by his attitude, strength, and diet, fans expect Walker to make a powerful bid for gold when the curtains rise in Las Vegas, Nevada. Don’t miss the return of the 2024 Mr. Olympia from October 10-13. Fitness Volt will have live coverage of prejudging and finals.
