Nick Walker is leaving nothing to chance with preparations, especially in the kitchen. In a recent YouTube video shared on September 9, 2024, ‘The Mutant’ walked his fans through a full day of eating ahead of his triumphant return to the Mr. Olympia stage this October 10-13.
It’s no secret that Nick Walker had a rocky season last year that ended in him bowing out of the 2023 Mr. Olympia due to a calf and hamstring tear. Initially, Walker believed he deserved a special invite to the 2024 Mr. Olympia due to the unfortunate circumstances he found himself in. However, Walker ultimately decided he wanted to earn his ticket to the prestigious stage.
Nick Walker announced that he’d compete at the 2024 New York Pro, hoping to claim a second title after his first win in 2021. Many believed Nick Walker was a shoo-in for first place, including Jay Cutler, who felt he would shock everyone. However, Martin Fitzwater had previously vowed to give Nick Walker a run for his money, and boy, did he.
Walker barely pulled through with the win at the New York Pro, having won by just one point to Fitzwater. After all was said and done, IFBB Vice President Tyler Manion broke down the event results and explained that this wasn’t the best Nick Walker fans had seen on stage.

Regardless of that chatter following his performance at the New York Pro, Nick Walker secured his qualification to the 2024 Mr. Olympia and hasn’t let naysayers hold him back. In fact, Walker has expressed that he thrives the most when people count him out.
Now, with only four weeks until he takes the stage, Walker is fine-tuning his physique but took the time to give his fans a glimpse at his full day of eating ahead of the big event.

“So we’re going to do a little home video today of exactly what I’m eating on a high day today. I haven’t really done these, I haven’t done this in forever actually.”
Meal 1
- Megafit Chicken
- Cream of Rice
- Peanut Butter
- Blueberries
Kicking off his full day of eating, Walker starts with some chicken and a bowl of cream of rice with toppings.
“We got some MegaFit chicken, and we got some Pride foods cream of rice. Some peanut butter, and some blueberries. We’ll eat this, relax for a little bit, probably take a nap maybe.”
He explained that he intends to only show what he is eating and not much else.
“Strictly just going to show you guys exactly what I eat all day, nothing really too much extra.”
Meal 2
- Megafit Chicken
- Jasmine Rice
- Avocado
- Ground Cinnamon
- Pink Salt
For meal two, Walker enjoys a big meal alongside some shows on his laptop.
“We are now sitting here getting ready to eat meal number two. As you can see, right there, we got Megafit chicken, we got some jasmine rice, we got some avocado, ground cinnamon, and some pink salt.
Then here, we got about 100 grams of blueberries so basically I’ll eat this. I’ll probably just sit on my laptop watch some food-eating shows or some bodybuilding shows.”
As a pre-workout ritual, Walker watches some videos to get him pumped up and motivated for his training session.
“A pre-workout ritual I guess, do you guys do what I do, you eat your pre-workout meal, you watch some motivational stuff, get you pumped, get you ready, and then get your pre-workout drink ready and leave? Is that what you guys do?”
Meal 3
- Jasmine rice
- Megafit Steak
- Cinnamon
- Pink Salt
After hitting the gym, Walker shares his post-workout meal.
“We got the post-workout meal,” says Walker. “That’s it. We’ll eat this, relax for a little bit and eat again. Then, I have I think Marlon coming by to do a little massage work.”
He explained that now that he is closer to the 2024 Mr. Olympia, he is getting more massages.
“Obviously being closer to the show I do want to get body work a little more frequent. Probably now until the show I will see him twice a week.”
Meal 4
- Megafit Chicken
- Jasmine Rice
- Peanut Butter
- Ground Cinnamon
- Pink Salt
Walker takes down meal number four with a side of TV and possibly a call to his mom.
“This will be meal number four. Yeah. So we’re going to eat this up,” said Walker. “Probably just relax [after this]. Probably watch some TV shows, probably call my mom I don’t know.”
Meal 5
- Trifecta chicken
- Avocado
- Jasmine Rice
- Veggies (string beans)
- Pink Salt
- Ground Cinnamon
To wrap up his full day of eating, Nick Walker settles in for a movie.
“This is meal number five on a high day today. We’re kicking back on the couch sitting back relaxing, watching a movie right now.”
Walker revealed that he is keeping his physique under wraps in order to pack a bigger punch on stage this October.
“I’m purposely staying covered up this prep. I really don’t want to show too much. I kind of just really want to bring that shock value to the Olympia. That’s what we’re going to do.”
Despite Nick Walker’s dedication throughout his prep for the 2024 Mr. Olympia, he will have his work cut out for him when he goes head-to-head with the Men’s Open top contenders come October. This includes the current champion, Derek Lunsford, along with the former titleholder, Hadi Choopan, who has already had a strong year with back-to-back wins at the Arnold Classic Ohio and UK events.
Additionally, Samson Dauda, who placed third at the 2023 Mr. Olympia, will also be returning to the stage. Dauda shared an update recently expressing that he is taking things to the next level during this year’s prep, and his physique certainly backed that statement up. Let’s not forget Hunter Labrada and Andrew Jacked, who both have the potential to shake things up this October.
Fans don’t have to wait long to see what is sure to be an explosive showdown at the 2024 Mr. Olympia. With less than five weeks left, Nick Walker, as well as all the other Men’s Open standouts, are preparing to give it their all on stage this October 10-13 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
