Before Patrick Moore made his Olympia debut in the Open division last year, few probably would have thought he’d have blown up in popularity the way he did. and to be included in the conversation about potential future Mr. Olympia champs after taking 10th place in the biggest bodybuilding show on Earth… well, few else needs to be said other than we’re excited to see how he progresses.
Moore usually updates fans with progress photos but he recently posted a few showing what he looks like about 5 weeks out from the upcoming 2020 Arnold Classic that’ll be taking place in Columbus Ohio. And by looks of his current physique, we really hope he comes in and makes a statement because he certainly has the potential.
Check out his front double bicep where he put in the caption…
“Outwork your potential!!💪🏼👊🏼“

And you have to respect Moore’s love and passion for the sport because it really shows through not only his dedication for bodybuilding (just look at the package he brought to the 2019 Olympia) but also due to the fact that he’s willing to do whatever it takes to ensure he has the best possible chances of reaching the very top in the division.
So, he posted a side Tricep photo where he looks very impressive (Why would we expect anything less at this point?) but you can see how the tattoo on his left tricep is mostly gone. Well, he explained to fans that his decision to have his tattoos removed is something that he must do if he wants to have a chance at being the best in the world.
Tattoos tend to hide much of the appearance of definition and separation which is why many bodybuilders opt to not get inked up.
Here’s what he had to say…
“I get a lot of questions on why I’m removing all of my tattoos. Bodybuilding is my chosen profession, and if I want to be the best, I have to make conscious decisions based on what it will take to give myself the best chance to achieve that goal.
In this side tricep pose, you can see how my tricep would have been hidden by the ink that was there before. Therefore giving the illusion that I have no separation in that area. Do I want to remove them??….hell no!!😂 But that want doesn’t outweigh the desire to be the best in the world! Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do if you want to be successful. Anyway, it’s #triceptuesday, let’s go train em!💪🏼👊🏼“
Here’s another photo he posted which read…
“Pancake status! Just under 5 weeks to go and @therealtechnician says we have plenty of time to get better. I told him send me the plan and I’ll execute!💪🏼“
Patrick Moore is taking his Arnold Classic prep very seriously and he even recently trained with 7x Mr. Olympia Phil Heath which can only be to his benefit, and with some room for improvement, he’s on the right track.
He’ll be in the company of other elites such as William Bonac, Dexter Jackson, Big Ramy, Roelly Winklaar, and others so it’ll be interesting to see how he does. But we’ll definitely keep you posted regarding the 2020 Arnold Classic competition.
