Discussing ‘Natty or Not’ topics has become increasingly popular across social media. In his latest appearance on Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk Podcast, bodybuilding legend Phil Heath opened up on whether or not Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson uses steroids or testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).

‘The Rock’ remains one of the most notable athletes to come out of the realm of Pro wrestling. His athleticism, jacked physique, and performances have turned heads, and with considerable fame, comes scrutiny. Many, including Joe Rogan, have questioned if ‘The Rock’ takes gear.

Phil Heath’s predecessor, former four-time Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler has also tackled the sensitive matter. He believes famous figures like Mike O’Hearn and The Rock have a ‘right’ to not talk about their alleged use of PEDs. According to Cutler, The Rock isn’t ‘over-muscular,’ making it quite challenging to detect whether the acting juggernaut has dabbled with gear.

“I have no idea because if I look at him, I have no idea. Dude, I don’t want to slam DJ on this but he is not as big as people like, I’ve seen you know what I’m saying. He is 6’5 bro, like 6’5. How much you think he weighs? That’s achievable. That’s what I’m saying it’s like people make it seem like this guy is like 300 pounds. If he was 300 pounds and ripped I’d be like come on man. He is not super round, you know, he’s lean” Phil Heath said.

“He is part Samoan, dude. Have you grown up with Samoans? Them motherfuckers are jacked. I am going to keep it real, no because he has been an athlete his whole life. You are going to carry something. You’re not going to just wither away.”

He also gave insight into whether Johnson used TRT throughout the years given that he has maintained a chiseled body for decades.

“Maybe. I mean maybe, if he said, Hey Phil, I’m on some TRT, I’d be like oh okay that makes sense.”

Phil Heath and Jay Cutler aren’t the only bodybuilding legends who have speculated on whether The Rock uses steroids. Eight-time Mr. Olympia champion Ronnie Coleman weighed in on the debate claiming that he believes he is using a ‘bit of something’ to maintain a physique like that.
