The quest to earn coveted qualifications for the 2025 Mr. Olympia is on and athletes are bringing their A-game in hopes of standing out from the crowd. Rafael Brandao, one of Brazil’s biggest stars in the Men’s Open, will aim to cement himself as champion. Brandao supersized his physique over the previous off-season and clinched an impressive eighth-place showing at the recent Mr. Olympia contest.
Mass monster Akim Williams has also made notable strides in his physique as of late. Steadily refining his conditioning, he remains one of the most imposing bodybuilders in the Open class. He took tenth on the prestigious Olympia stage in October and is eager to stamp his ticket to next year’s gathering with a dominant victory.
Meanwhile, Marcello De Angelis, well known as Horse MD, plans to shock the world against his opponents. Boasting insane aesthetics and shape, he always presents a unique challenge on stage. Horse MD took ninth on the 2024 Arnold Classic Ohio stage in his last outing. With so many threats lined up to compete at this stacked show, picking a winner is a tall task.

Mass monster Akim Williams is a threat anytime he takes to a stage. What makes him so dangerous is his ability to seemingly transform his physique from prejudging to the finals, making him a challenging opponent to deal with if he peaks properly.
Horse MD (Marcello De Angelis)
Sporting Classic lines with the mass of an Open competitor, De Angelis could shock the world in Romania. His deeply separated abs and symmetry are potent weapons, which he plans to put to good use against the lineup this weekend.
In 2023, Samson Dauda laid claim to gold at the Romania Muscle Fest Pro. However, he won’t be in attendance at this year’s event. Clearly, winning the Romania Muscle Fest Pro is a good luck charm for competitors as Dauda went on to become the new 2024 Mr. Olympia champion.
The Romania Muscle Fest Pro, taking place from November 9-10 will be a telling event for bodybuilding enthusiasts. Whoever secures the victory, will be guaranteed an opportunity to fight for the Sandow trophy at next year’s Mr. Olympia.
