It’s a new personal record for Clifford Smith Jr., also known as Method Man. This time it wasn’t a Grammy, it was a deadlift PR that he showcased on Instagram. This week, 50-year-old Method Man crushed a 215.5kg/475lb deadlift.

He posted it on Instagram, where his bio reads, “Training is commitment and lifestyle.” For this lift, he wore a black baseball cap and said,
Goals … 475 … eatin’ and motivating!!

Method Man’s Covid-19 Progress
It’s an accomplishment he’s been working towards. Method Man has been working towards this goal during the Covid-19 pandemic. His usual performance is done raw with a conventional stance. He wears red and a black cap or beanie. His most recent PR prior to this was a 206.4kg/455lb deadlift.
For that, he wore signature red, but with his beanie.
