You probably remember the 1989 animated film ‘Little Mermaid‘ (Unless you’re too young) where Ariel (Mermaid) falls for a prince and wants to be human before getting into serious trouble resulting in her jacked, overprotective father making a big sacrifice to save his daughter…
Well, Disney is doing a live-action remake and two really jacked dudes are vying for the role of Ariel’s father, ‘King Triton’. And actually, the well-known actor Terry Crews and three-time Mr. Olympia runner-up Kai Greene can already see themselves playing the king’s role.
Halle Berry will play Ariel as announced last week and now we’re curious to see if either one of these massive guys will land the role of a lifetime. Filming will begin early next year (2020) but let’s see how they’re pitching themselves for the movie.
Check out what famous artist @bosslogic on Twitter created for Crews… and just by looking at the picture, he’s not far off from looking the part.
Here’s another but not by the artist… and this one may be more on the humorous side.
This is what the bodybuilding legend Kai Greene would probably look like as King Triton… and apparently, he’s already vowing to have Ariel’s back.
While @bosslogic sketched Terry Crews as King Triton, he also made one of British actor Idris Elba who people are saying should be the next James Bond too. So, there’s another option.

But it’s anyone’s guess at this point and it’d be likely that a more experienced actor would be chosen for this role. So, Terry Crews and Idris Elba may have the advantage here.
