All time

The heaviest snatches since 1998

Each lifter's heaviest snatch in competition since 1998, when the IWF reset its records with new classes, heaviest first. Classes changed again in 2018, 2025 and 2026, so a lift here can sit above today's record for its class. A lift newer than the results on this site appears only when it is a current world record.

The rules

How snatch records work

A new world record must beat the old one by at least 1 kg and be set at a competition the IWF has approved for records, with doping control. When the IWF changes its class list, only classes whose limits stay the same keep their records; new classes start from world standards.
