The 2021 CrossFit Games Semifinals Last Chance Qualifier goes down July 2nd-4th. Ahead of the online only contest, the events the athletes will have to do, have been revealed.
The Last Chance Qualifier events are, as the name suggests, the final chance for athletes to qualify for the 2021 CrossFit Games. This gives one final shot for those who did not qualify through the other semifinal events, to earn an invite to the in-person Games at the end of July.
With this contest set to go down this weekend, fans and athletes alike have been wondering what the events will be. Now, through a post to the CrossFit official Instagram page, the individual events have been revealed.
Below are the 2021 CrossFit Games Semifinals: Last Chance Qualifier events.
Event One (scored for time, 15-minute time limit):
- 42-30-18 of the following:
– Row (Cal.)
– Alternating Dumbbell Hang Snatch
Weight: 35lb for women, 50lb for men
Event Two (20-minute time cap)
- 3-rep-max Deadlift
Event Three (Scored for time, 7-minute time cap)
- 100 burpees to a target set 12in above your reach
Event Four (Scored for time, 20-minute time cap
- 100 double-unders
- 10 squat cleans (135lb for men, 95lb for women)
- 5 legless rope climbs
- 80 double-unders
- 8 squat cleans (185lb for men, 135lb for women)
- 4 legless rope climbs
- 40 double-unders
- 4 squat cleans (245lb for men, 175lb for women)
- 2 legless rope climbs
- 20 double-unders
- 2 squat cleans (275lb for men, 185lb for women)
- 1 legless rope climb
