The highly anticipated 2023 Mr. Olympia Weekend kicked off on November 2-5 in Orlando, Florida. There were 12 competitors on deck for the Men’s Wheelchair division, and all men brought showstopping packages to the stage on Saturday. Following pre-judging and finals, Karol Milewski took out Harold Kelley to win the Men’s Wheelchair Olympia title.
Fans expected a showdown between the world’s best. Karol Mileswski was a major player in the category aiming for success. Furthermore, Gabriele Andriulle, the 2021 and 2022 Wheelchair Olympia runner-up, was eager to take out ‘King Kong’ in their highly anticipated rematch.
During prejudging and comparisons in the finals, the champ got a good look from head judge Steve Weinberger. But Josue Fabiano Berreto Monteiro and Karol Mileswski had other plans. Both men brought insane V-tapers and detailed backs. After an entertaining finale, Karol Mileswski pulled off the massive upset. Josue Fabiano Berreto Monteiro rounded out the podium in third place.
