Joe Weider’s 2024 Fitness and Performance Olympia Weekend is currently underway from October 11-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Competitors from the Men’s 212 Bodybuilding category met for prejudging on Friday, October 11, at 9:30 a.m. inside the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Men’s 212 Bodybuilding category has a rich history in the IFBB Pro League with many stars emerging, including former seven-time 212 Olympia Flex Lewis and the reigning Mr. Olympia Derek Lunsford. Last year, Keone Pearson upset former two-time titleholder Shaun Clarida to clinch gold. Their rematch has the bodybuilding world chomping at the bit to see who comes out on top.
During prejudging, Shaun Clarida, Keone Pearson, Angel Calderon Frias, and Kerrith Bajjo stood out from the moment they stepped on stage. Boasting powerful front double biceps poses and thin waists, it was clear they brought improvements from last year.
Clarida’s vascularity and density dominated. However, the shape and aesthetics of Pearson were on point as well. They also showcased impressive back definition and deep leg separation. It’s anyone’s title heading into the finals later tonight!
