The 2024 Kim Jun Ho Korea Pro took over Seoul, South Korea on May 12 for an epic bodybuilding show. This event featured competitors from the Classic Physique and Men’s Physique divisions. 

With the 2024 Mr. Olympia contest approaching, bodybuilders from around the world are attempting to earn a coveted qualification for the prestigious show. The 2024 Mr. Olympia competition is set to return to Las Vegas, Nevada for its 60th anniversary and will take place from October 10-13. 

Per the Olympia Qualification System, there is no point system in effect. Thus, if an athlete wishes to make it to the biggest stage of the year, they must win a Pro show before the September 15 deadline. In the end, the symmetry and shape of Hyun Seok Lee carried him to victory in Classic Physique. Jinbo Li got the job done in Men’s Physique with conditioning and stage presence.

Classic Physique 

South Korea saw an array of top-tier Classic Physique talents battle on stage. Among the frontrunners were Kai Liu and Hyun Seok Lee. Both men brought entertaining individual routines and commanded the judges’ attention during prejudging. Liu last stepped on stage at the 2024 Dragon Physique DMS, where he carved out a solid third-place showing.

Lee’s side poses and back shots were on another level, leading to considerable momentum. He last tested himself at the 2023 Tokyo Pro in sixth place. In the end, Hyun Seok Lee took first place. Kai Liu and Zhaonian Xu placed second and third.

Men’s Physique 

Men’s Physique contenders were on deck in South Korea and brought impeccable physiques to the venue. Fans saw Mengyi Liu and Jinbo Li fighting for the center stage; both men brought balanced looks and defined shoulders. Jinbo Li continues to improve from contest to contest. He last competed and won at the 2022 Japan Pro. After close comparisons, Jinbo Li earned first place. Mengyi Liu and Zerui Li took second and third.
