The 2025 Rogue Invitational CrossFit competition is set to take place on October 31st – November 2nd in Aberdeen, Scotland. It is easily one of the biggest shows of the season, as it often features dozens of world-class athletes, all of whom come with a goal of battling for the coveted title. This year promises to not just meet but exceed expectations, with the recently released lineups showcasing an incredible caliber of CrossFit talent.
The 2025 Rogue Invitational CrossFit competition consists of the men’s and women’s divisions. Both divisions feature 20 athletes, who earned an invite based on their results, achievements, or other criteria. So, the goal of the event is to put the athletes through extensive and meticulously designed tests of fitness across three days in order to determine who is the most worthy competitor to take home the trophy.
2025 Rogue Invitational CrossFit Lineup
Men
The men’s lineup at the 2025 Rogue Invitational CrossFit competition is incredibly stacked, featuring not only the top performers from the previous parts of the season but also some legendary competitors who did not take part in this year’s CrossFit Games. One of the biggest favorites for the title has to be the defending champion, Jeffrey Adler. The Canadian placed eighth at this year’s CrossFit Games, and he will be hoping to close out his season with a win at the Rogue Invitational.
Adler’s biggest rival could potentially be the reigning Fittest Man On Earth, Jayson Hopper. He placed third at the 2024 Rogue Invitational but hopes to climb up the podium this year. However, in doing so, he will have to beat a number of incredible athletes, including the 2023 Rogue Invitational champion, Patrick Vellner.
The two-time Fittest Man On Earth and two-time Rogue Invitational champion, Justin Medeiros, is another athlete to keep an eye on. His resume clearly shows that he is more than capable of beating everyone. Therefore, he could definitely find his way to the top of the podium once again.
While all 20 athletes have their strengths, Ricky Garard and Roman Khrennikov stand out as two other athletes that are often found in title contention. Both men are still seeking their first win at this level, but the tide could definitely shift in their favor.

Women
The biggest surprise in the women’s division of the 2025 Rogue Invitational CrossFit competition happened when the lineup was revealed. Namely, the eight-time Fittest Woman On Earth and last year’s Rogue champion, Tia-Clair Toomey, will miss out on this year’s contest. The reasons for her absence are currently unknown.
With Tia-Clair Toomey out of the competition, multiple other women come up as the main favorites for the title. The first pick for many fans is Laura Horvath, as she boasts the most impressive resume among all 20 athletes. She was the 2023 Fittest Woman On Earth, as well as the 2022 and 2023 Rogue Invitational champion. Consequently, Laura will be chasing another gold medal this year.
Both Arielle Loewen and Emma Lawson have stood on the podium at previous editions of the Rogue Invitational. Lawson finished third in 2022 and 2023, while Loewen walked away with a bronze medal from the 2024 edition of the competition. Emma is a young prodigy, full of energy and ambitions. On the other hand, Arielle is one of the most experienced active CrossFitters in the world. So, both will definitely be contenders for the title.
Lucy Campbell and Olivia Kerstetter placed second and third at the most recent CrossFit Games, respectively. They put the pressure on Tia-Clair Toomey, which indicates that they are also capable of competing for the title at the 2025 Rogue Invitational as well.
