The first major CrossFit competition, the 2022 Wadapalooza contest, happened in Miami, FL, from January 13-16, 2022. This year’s edition of the contest was special because of the improved prize pool of $100,000. This is the biggest prize in Wodapalooza’s history, so contestants had even more reason to win.
The competition consisted of eight different workouts across 4 days. It also had individual and team categories, for both the male and female divisions. It is very impressive that Patrick Vellner managed to defend his title, and win the competition for the third time in a row.
