Last week in a really stupid incident Calum Von Moger suffered a bicep tear while attempting a 400lbs bicep curl with Classic Physique Olympia runner-up Chris Bumstead.

The two decided to make a bicep curl “World Record” video together. That’s when things took a turn for the worse.

While attempting a crazy 400 lbs bicep curl on a barbell through the combined efforts of both Calum and Chris, the Australian bodybuilder ended up injuring his bicep.

Calum von Moger on his social media announced that he had torn his bicep but we didn’t know the extent of his injury. A bicep tear could have potentially been minor, but it appears that surgery will be necessary to repair the torn tendon.

Today Calum reveal the extent of the injury and what kind of surgery he’ll have to undergo in order to repair his bicep.

Update: My MRI results came in. I have a complete tear in the distal biceps tendon and will need surgery to reattach the tendon. Thank you all for the endless support. I’ve received heaps of encouraging messages/emails/comments and i really appreciate them ? Despite the setback I face, I’m very grateful each day to be living in LA, doing what I love and sharing that with you here.
