Rhianon Lovelace has spent years building her reputation in the sport of Strongwoman and is now recognized as one of the greatest athletes ever. Moreover, she currently seems to be in the best shape of her life and seems to be the undisputed champion of her weight class. In fact, she added another record to her resume on September 9th, at the 2023 Scotland’s Strongest Man competition. Although the competition was for men, Rhianon came solely to perform one event. So, having locked out a 273.5-kilogram (603-pound) Kratos Bar Deadlift, Rhianon set a new U64KG World Record.

There is no doubt about it by now, Rhianon Lovelace is one of the greatest pound-for-pound deadlifters in the world. However, it is still mind-blowing that she was able to lock out 273.5 kilograms (603 pounds) at just 61 kilograms (134.5 pounds) of bodyweight. So, the weight she lifted was 4.48x heavier than what she weighed at the time of the deadlift.

It is important to note that the Kratos Bar Deadlift is not a synonym for a standard deadlift, but is instead a variation of it. This is because the Kratos Bar is longer than the standard one and is more bendy, which makes the movement very unique. However, this does not mean that it is easier to perform than the standard deadlift.

Rhianon Lovelace also used a deadlift suit, lifting belt, and lifting straps to perform the 273.5-kilogram (603-pound) Kratos Bar Deadlift. Moreover, she completed the deadlift with a conventional stance and made it look easy. Once she locked out the weight, Rhianon did not immediately drop the bar but instead held it for a few seconds, allowing herself to soak up the cheers of the crowd and further display her strength.

Rhianon Lovelace also shared an Instagram post recapping her 273.5-kilogram (603-pound) Kratos Bar Deadlift and gushing about how happy she is. Moreover, she announced that this is not only a World Record in the 64-kilogram weight class, but also in the U73KG and U82KG weight classes. So, although competitors in the U73KG and U82KG are significantly heavier than Rhianon, no one has locked out this much weight before.

Apart from that, Rhianon Lovelace stated that this was the 40th time she broke a Strongwoman World Record, which is an extremely impressive achievement.

“U64/u73/u82 Kratos Deadlift Bar World record

Today was special for me.
It marked my 40th time of Breaking Strongwoman World Records.”

Rhianon Lovelace has been exceptional for many years, but 2023 has been particularly successful for her. She has already set numerous World records, even prior to this. Those include Axle Press, Atlas Stone, and Strict Curl World Records. However, the season has just begun for her, so a lot more records could fall under her name in the next few months.

Rhianon Lovelace is also not all about World Records, as she also puts in a lot of effort to secure the most prestigious titles the sport has to offer. She has not been any less successful in this regard either, since she is a 2x U64KG World’s Strongest Woman, 3x Europe’s Strongest, and a champion of many other shows.

Rhianon Lovelace proved once again that she is a one of a kind Strongwoman and that we are lucky to witness her greatness. Like always, after her moment of celebration, Rhianon already set her sights on the next goal, which will be to compete at the 2023 Great Lakes Pro Strongwoman in just a few days.
