British Bodybuilder Shaun Davis has passed away at 57 years old, according to several media outlets. While his cause of death remains unknown, friends and family have begun to mourn the devastating loss.

A beloved bodybuilder in the community, Shaun ‘Dinosaur’ Davis made a name for himself with an impressive upper body, a carved-out six-pack, and a fun-loving personality. Davis’ close friend, Kuldeep Bhardwaj shared his emotional reaction to the terrible news after hearing of his demise from Helen Burrows. Davis was open about suffering from kidney issues following his retirement from professional bodybuilding.

Davis continued to wield significant influence in the community of Long Eaton, situated in the Erewash district of Derbyshire, England. Numerous admirers from the locality, as well as his intimate circle of family and friends, have expressed their sentiments in tribute to Davis.

Waiting on the kidney transplant list for over three years, Davis later became an advocate for organ donations, encouraging others to register as donors. It should be noted that ‘Dinosaur’ was receiving dialysis three times a week before receiving a kidney transplant in 2009. In retirement, Davis delt with kidney failure.

“Just received terrible news from Helen Burrows the passing of my friend Shaun Davis.
I’m absolutely devastated

Rest in Peace my friend you was a true inspiration right from the day I met you at school, through your amazing bodybuilding years and after. Your smile and laughter will me missed 🙏” shared Davis’ close friend, Kuldeep Bhardwaj.

Having enjoyed success as a thriving bodybuilder, Davis managed to win multiple titles during his tenure. In 1996, Davis won the Mr. Universe title, a highly prestigious honor. He also claimed victories at shows like Mr. UK, Mr. Britain, Mr. Universe, and Mr. Pro Universe. Even though his career was short, Davis achieved some incredible feats.

Sadly, there have been a handful of deaths to shake the bodybuilding community as of late. Most notably, popular YouTube personality Jo Lindner met his fate at just 30 years old, and fans are still uncertain as to what caused his death. Just yesterday, 30-year-old vegan bodybuilder Alfredo Martin passed away from unknown causes.

Having impacted many lives, Shaun Davis will be remembered for his many contributions to the bodybuilding community. Our staff at Fitness Volt extend our condolences to his friends and family during this time.
