2024 Dubai Pro Results

The 2024 Dubai Pro saw some of the IFBB Pro League’s biggest names wage war for cash and the all-important Mr. Olympia qualification. In addition, this event on July 28 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates featured talent from the Men’s 212 Bodybuilding, Classic Physique, and Men’s Physique divisions.

With a staggering $100,000 on the line for the Men’s Open winner, the pressure surrounding this contest reached unprecedented highs. Among the frontrunners to watch out for this weekend were rising Open class mass monster Rubiel ‘Neckzilla’ Mosquera as well as Nathan De Asha, William Bonac, and Behrooz Tabani, all of whom brought unique strengths to the Middle East.

There was no Open class at the 2023 Dubai Pro show. Therefore, when the dust settled, a new titleholder emerged. He and the other winners will have the chance to prove themselves as the very best atop the Mr. Olympia stage, which returns to Las Vegas, Nevada from October 11-13. Check out how the show went below:

2024 Dubai Pro Winning Athletes

  • Open Bodybuilding: Behrooz Tabani
  • 212 Bodybuilding: Angel Calderon
  • Classic Physique: Breon Ansley
  • Men’s Physique: Erin Banks

Results Breakdown for the 2024 Dubai Pro

Men’s Open Bodybuilding

  • Winner — Behrooz Tabani
  • Second Place — William Bonac
  • Third Place — Nathan De Asha
  • Fourth Place — Rubiel Mosquera
  • Fifth Place — Alie Edward
  • Sixth Place — Khaled Awry
  • Seventh Place — Aleksei Kuznetsov
  • Eighth Place — Ali Jasim
  • Ninth Place — Vilius Sosnovskis
  • Tenth Place — Robin Strand

It was a night to remember in Dubai with competitors from the Open class delivering eye-catching physiques. Behrooz Tabani’s momentum was evident, as he presented a package with more mass and his patented conditioning levels. In June, Tabani raised gold above his head at the 2024 Flex Weekend Pro in Milan Italy, where his aesthetics carried him to success against Nathan De Asha.

The feathered quads, strong back poses, and muscle density of William Bonac, a two-time Arnold Classic champion, stood out and he looked more determined than ever to exert his supremacy. Bonac last took to the stage at the 2024 Empro Classic Pro, a contest that saw him defeat runner-up Tabani.

With experience facing each other, the night ultimately belonged to Behrooz Tabani. He racked up another win while Bonac and Nathan De Asha secured the second and third-place positions. Although Rubiel ‘Neckzilla’ Mosquera entered with all of the hype, his conditioning led to him placing fourth.

Men’s 212 Bodybuilding

  • Winner — Angel Calderon Frias
  • Second Place — Nihat Kaya
  • Third Place — Nasser Mohammad
  • Fourth Place — Marco Ruz
  • Fifth Place — Mazin Kratus
  • Sixth Place — Jafar Ghaffamezhad
  • Seventh Place — Mahmoud Abdelhalim
  • Eighth Place — Mohamed Embaby
  • Ninth Place — Husham Al Kinani
  • Tenth Place — Mojtaba Zare

A Men’s 212 Bodybuilding star was born today: Nihat Kaya, who at only 21 years old, displayed seasoned fullness and dry conditioning, complemented by muscle separation. His mass with class physique attracted immense attention leading up to this event and he delivered on the hype in wholesale. Despite his limited amount of experience, his confidence wasn’t shaken on stage and he left the online world buzzing about his performance.

What made Kaya’s time on stage so special was that he was able to hang with Angel Calderon, a proven and lethal name in the highly competitive division. Having placed third on the Mr. Olympia platform in 2023, Calderon demands respect from his peers.

In his last outing, he clinched eighth place at the New York Pro but this time, it was clear he improved by significant margins. In the end, Calderon picked up the win, Kaya took second in a stunning display and Nasser Sayed rounded out the podium with a third-place finish.

Classic Physique

  • Winner — Breon Ansley
  • Second Place — Vahid Badpei
  • Third Place — Mohammed Murshed
  • Fourth Place — Julio Simoes
  • Fifth Place — Khaled El Nahawy
  • Sixth Place — Abdullah Alrabiah
  • Seventh Place — Charles Michael Oniya
  • Eighth Place — Amr Elgamal
  • Ninth Place — Majid Khorsandikolour
  • Tenth Place — Ali Shamsghamar

Heading into this event, former two-time Classic Physique Olympia Breon Ansley was the on-paper favorite. He has grown up in front of fans’ eyes on stage, and Ansley’s ability to refine and tinker with his physique is second to none.

With a record packed full of impressive bodybuilding titles, Ansley hoped to add this year’s Dubai Pro to his list, especially given the prize money. Ansley last tested himself against Wesley Vissers in second place at the 2024 Arnold Classic UK show.

In ‘The Black Swan’s’ way was Vahid Badpei. This Classic Physique standout has improved dramatically under the IFBB Pro League banner. Last taking silver to Stephane Matala at the 2024 Mr. Big Evolution Portugal Pro, Badpei narrowly missed out on gold. While he presented a look tonight with little to no weaknesses, Ansley was just a cut above him in terms of conditioning and fullness, which gave him the victory. Badpei took second and Mohammed Murshed finished third.

Men’s Physique

  • Winner — Erin Banks
  • Second Place — Miroslav Juricek
  • Third Place — Abi Pietersz
  • Fourth Place — Carlos Asiedu Ocran
  • Fifth Place — Sidy Pouye
  • Sixth Place — Ahmed Mandy
  • Seventh Place — Kamal Aitirhmour
  • Eighth Place — Anik Ghosh
  • Ninth Place — Rahul Paswan
  • Tenth Place — Daniel Oti

The stars were out in the Men’s Physique class, including former Men’s Physique Olympia Erin Banks, who has made it a habit to compete in contests months before stepping on the Olympia stage. Banks’ capped delts, exaggerated X-frame, and dug-out abs gave the judges a lot to look at throughout prejudging and the finals. Since losing his title to Ryan Terry at the 2023 Olympia, Banks used his time to shore up weaknesses and it paid off in spades on stage.

Judging officials were also interested in taking a much closer look at Miroslav Juricek, whose shape, conditioning, and upper body density gave him an edge against many of his opponents. Juricek last measured his will against all foes at the 2023 EVLS Prague Pro, which he won impressively. In the end, Erin Banks’ strengths overwhelmed the lineup and he secured gold. Miroslav Juricek placed second and Abi Pietersz took third.
