Bodybuilder Wesley Vissers is attacking his preparations from all angles, including in the kitchen. In a recent YouTube video shared on October 8, 2024, ‘The Dutch Oak’ walked fans through a full day of eating just five days away from storming the 2024 Mr. Olympia stage.
Wesley Vissers has been on a roll this bodybuilding season. It started with a major upset victory over Brazilian powerhouse Ramon Queiroz at the 2024 Arnold Classic Ohio event. From there, Vissers continued his success, clinching gold at the Arnold Classic UK competition, where he defeated divisional standouts Urs Kalecinski and former two-time Classic Physique Olympia Breon Ansley.
In light of his success on stage, Vissers is considered one of reigning champion Chris Bumstead‘s main threats. Although Vissers has showcased immense improvements in a short period, ‘Cbum’ is convinced he can beat anyone on stage, even if they are at 120 percent. However, with the event rapidly approaching, speculation will soon end and we’ll know whether Vissers has a shot at achieving the improbable.

“We want everything to be perfectly mixed up. Otherwise you get lumps and clumps and you don’t get the perfect consistency of this meal.”

- Dried egg whites
- Stevia
- 1 scoop Flavor Tasty
- Psyllium husk
- Cinnamon
- Salt
- 160 grams Rice flour
- 50 grams Whey Isolate

He doubled up on his victory meal for his second course of the day.
“Now it’s time to make the post-workout victory meal which is the exact same as the breakfast but then with more flour but since you guys always ask me how to make this, I’m going to show you exactly how.”
Pre-workout shake
- 1 gram Pink Himalayan salt
- 30 grams Pre-workout
- 30 grams Crank Pump Pro
Intra Workout

Meal 3
- 400 grams of fruit (mixed berries)
- Boiling water

- 10 grams dark chocolate chips
His meal three was a lot like his last two, but he added frozen and fresh fruit to the mix as well as dark chocolate chips to create a molten lava cake-type creation.
“We got to treat ourselves a little bit when we have the opportunity right? So put this [chocolate chips] in the middle and take two of these and I push them a little so whenever I eat this meal, you eat around it, and you end with the best part.
Now why do I add dark chocolate? It’s a fat source but first of all, 10 grams you cut that in half and that’s the amount of fat you basically have left. It’s 80 percent dark chocolate so you still have a little bit of sugar in there.”

- Turmeric
- Oregano
- Organic Ground turkey
- Vegetables (mushrooms and pumpkin)
- 3 grams salt
- Chives
- Baking spray
Using grain rice, Vissers cooked up his next meal which was filled with colorful vegetables and organic ground turkey.
“One trick to make rice not stick at the bottom, put some spray in there. This is the ultimate non-stick baking spray. Uncle Ben’s original one-grain rice.”
Meal 5
- Cucumbers
- Yellow mustard
- Barbecue sauce Heinz
- 140 grams of Uncle Ben’s Rice
- Organic Ground Turkey
- Squash
- Pumpkin
For his fifth helping of the day, Vissers enjoyed another organic turkey dish with rice and vegetables.
“I’ve listened to you guys. High-quality meat,” said Vissers. “Prepping vegetables always takes a while. That’s not always what you want to do when you have to create lot of meals.”
“Herbs just adds flavor but every single spice has its own health benefits and we are going to come out with a cookbook.”
Meal 6
- 25 grams of Smoked Sockeye Salmon
- 300 grams of Organic Egg whites
- Organic Nordic Salmon
- 3 grams of Salt
- Dill seasoning
- 150 grams asparagus
- Thyme
His final meal of the day was smoked salmon, Nordic salmon, complemented with asparagus.
“This is the final meal of the day. I’m actually going to be eating it literally from the pan because there’s no plate big enough here in this house. That’s what I usually do. But anyway, this was my full day of eating leading up to the carb-loading days before the Mr. Olympia.”
Aiming to bring the golden era back to the Mr. Olympia stage, time will tell if Vissers can prove himself as the number one bodybuilder of Classic Physique. Throughout the season, he’s kept fans on the edge of their seats thanks to physique updates, diet breakdowns, and intense training sessions.
