Bodybuilders have another shot to qualify for the 2026 Mr. Olympia this weekend. In a YouTube video from July 2, Iain Valliere shared his top 10 Men’s Open predictions for the Mr. Big Evolution Portugal Pro.

In 2025, Rubiel “Neckzilla” Mosquera laid claim to gold at the Portugal Pro. However, he decided to sit out this weekend, paving the way for a new titleholder. The roster is stacked with top-tier threats, including Jordan Hutchinson, who stands out as a clear favorite.

Hutchinson’s stock rose with a breakout season last year. He won the Tampa and Texas Pro, giving him ample confidence for the Olympia stage. At the ‘Super Bowl of Bodybuilding,’ Hutchinson battled against the best in the world en route to placing 12th. Bodybuilding legend Jay Cutler took notice of his potential, predicting that he could break into the top four at the 2026 Olympia with an improved back.

Hutchinson intends to make a statement, especially after missing the mark at the recent Flex Weekend Italy Pro. He finished third behind William Bonac and the newly crowned champ, Edward Kargbo.

Aside from Hutchinson, Open veteran James Hollingshead will be back in action. In his last outing, he secured eighth place at the 2025 Japan Pro. With the Portugal contest just days away, Valliere opened up on who’s likely to walk away with their hand raised.

Iain Valliere Shares Top Predictions for the 2026 Portugal Pro

Find his predictions from the video below:

  • Winner — Jordan Hutchinson
  • Second Place — James Hollingshead
  • Third Place — Lorenzo Leeuwe
  • Fourth Place — Emir Omeragic
  • Fifth Place — Marc Hector
  • Sixth Place — Tim Budesheim
  • Seventh Place — Justin Musiol
  • Eighth Place — Gianluca Di Lorenzo
  • Ninth Place — Daan Mansens
  • Tenth Place — Dawid Cnota

Valliere sees Hutchinson rebounding with a big win in Portugal. He expects Hollingshead to hold his own with his signature density and size. Head-to-head, Hutchinson boasts stronger aesthetics and a tighter waist, but Hollingshead edges him out in experience and is known for his massive legs. If Hollingshead can present elite-level conditioning, he could catch Hutchinson slipping.

Chances to qualify for the prestigious Mr. Olympia are drying up quickly. Athletes have until August 30 to secure their entries. The 2026 Mr. Big Evolution Portugal Pro takes place on July 5 in Estoril, Portugal. Our team at Fitness Volt will have live coverage of the action.
