Ashton Rouska is a rare talent and his insane total proves it. At only 208 pounds, he’s putting up some scary numbers, several of which were at USA Powerlifting’s Powerfest which gave him an unofficial World record.
Rouska performed a 705lb squat, 457lb bench press, and an 871lb deadlift in the 231lb weight class.
Now, in college, Rouska finished with a 1,930 total which makes a 54lb increase since then. And that’s a really big jump!
Check out the massive lifts he posted on Instagram from the competition…

Rouska wrote the following on his Instagram even mentioning some names of lifters he surpassed…
“Deadlift 821 lbs
Bench Press 457 lbs
Squat 705 lbs
Total 1984 lbs
So I competed today at USAPL Powerfest in the 231 lbs class! I weighed 208.1 lbs.
My 2nd deadlift of 804 lbs broke @bryce_tsa total record (1967 lbs) and my final deadlift of 821 lbs unofficially surpasses the World Record total @mr.deadlift (1984 lbs/900 kg). Beyond grateful to have such strong competition to push me to my limits. Much respect🔥. To my sponsors, everyone that wished me luck, spectated, and assisted me today, a huge heartfelt thank you! It wouldn’t be the same nor possible without you all. As @russwole says, “Get Better Today!” ♥️
Go Beyond“
Last year, Ashton Rouska placed first at the Raw Nationals at 105kg and if he does again this year in October, well… at least we know it’ll be even more exciting with his extra firepower (Progress).
We wish the young fella the best in his journey to the top and can’t wait to see more!
