It is no secret that YouTube fitness stars Kali Muscle and Big Boy are intense guys. This was brought to light in a big way recently, after they had some issues with their trip to Gold’s Gym Venice.
With half of a million subscribers for Big Boy and 2.2 million for Kali, there is no denying their place as some of the biggest stars in the fitness industry. They have had several viral moments over the years to garner them each with their own notoriety.

Recently the pair of fitness stars teamed up to hit the iconic Gold’s Gym Venice. Each man brought along their own individual camera crews to film the session for YouTube, and they both had one big goal in mind.
“Of course, Big Boy wants to the 330lb dumbbells,” Kali said.
These particular dumbbells are the billed as the heaviest dumbbells made of solid gold. After a warm-up, they hit the novelty dumbbells, as Muscle does two reps of a row, and Big Boy lands a staggering ten reps in his right arm and six on his left.

Then Things Got Ugly
After hitting up these solid gold dumbbells, Kali Muscle and Big Boy bounced around the gym a little more. However then a manager at the gym came over to scold them for not wearing their masks properly.
Things got a bit heated here, as the manager told the pair that he did not know who they were with. Kali took this personally, as he felt disrespected by the fact that this guy did not know who he was.
“How long you been here?” he asked.
“Five years,” the manager responded.
“And you don’t know us?” Kali asked.
“No idea. Do you know how many people come in here?” he replied.
“Where have you been, (expletive) under a rock?” retorted Muscle.
This exchanged prompted the manager to ask Kali Muscle, Big Boy, and their crew to leave. They agreed to, although it was clear that there was serious tension during the situation.
Then Kali Muscle Almost Got In A Fight
As if this was not a crazy enough trip to Gold’s Venice, this was not where it ended for Kali Muscle and Big Boy. They transitioned outside the building, to do a wrap up for the video.
However things got heated when someone walking into the gym walked through the camera frame. This prompted Muscle to confront the guy about it, who did not back down.
After patting Kali on the arm and apologizing, things seemed to heat up more. While the two fist bumped, and were about to go on their way, the man told the YouTuber to chill, which was not well received.
When the man walked away he was still talking, and Muscle said something about that. That resulted in the two getting in each other’s face, before being separated, somewhat calming down, and going about their own business.
“They don’t like Kali around here. Look at him, look at him. That’s what happens when you’re Kali Muscle,” Big Boy jokes.
This was quite the intense session at Gold’s Gym Venice for Kali Muscle and Big Boy. They even joked about how they will not be able to come back there, and it is hard to disagree with that.
What do you think of this whole exchange?
I must be living under a rock cause I didn’t know who they were, and very likely to forget soon. What the heck does that have to do with wearing a mask. You think COVID gives a sh…t about who they are and who they can infect.
Ditto all John said.
I’ve never heard of these two juice heads, and their tough guy routines wear thin with other serious lifters, I’m sure. Back off the test a little and get your temper under control. These yahoo’s are the reason weightlifters/bodybuilders get a muscle head reputation.
I mean, are you f’n kidding me with the ‘don’t you know who I am’ crap…too funny. Do something noteworthy besides being a pin cushion with a crappy attitude and you’ll earn a little respect from the general public. Until then, start writing your 50 year old bodybuilding obit with ‘_____ failure’ as the cause of death…pick your favorite organ and insert.
Just my two cents.
I was there that day. I didn’t know who they were either and I’ve been a member for 7 years. I can vouch for the staff of Gold’s that they are all stand up individuals. The group may have been asked to leave for not wearing the masks but the noise they were making may also have been a factor. I’ve seen other people there without their masks on. Unfortunately Gold’s Venice will sometimes confront people for making too much noise. I say unfortunately because I like the noise and usually find it motivating especially if someone is using heavy weights. I think there were about 5 people in the group and they seemed to take over the dumbbell area that a lot of people like to use. The equipment was limited that day. It was rainy and some of the equipment was covered. I will say I was impressed that they did dumbbell rows with the gold dumbbells. I can’t vouch for their form as I wasn’t that close. If they were kicked out for not wearing masks, I don’t disagree with the decision. The gym has been closed for 9 of the last 10 months and none of us want to see it closed again. Gold’s spent a lot of effort and money to make outdoor training available. I walked past the group on my way out and heard one of them saying do they know who I am. A lot of famous people work out at Gold’s so no one should assume to be known. I wasn’t there long enough to see any altercation. Maybe this group could take a lesson from someone like Duane Johnson who’s a very cool person in spite of his fame and as I’ve personally witnessed, he’s polite and he puts his weights away.
Kali who? Big what? Bunch of axxhxxs for sure! Get a clue on reality guys.
They both are trash. One is a fat trailer park white guy, and the other is a criminal who looks ok, nothing special. At least 200 members of Golds have much better physiques, and can behave in public.
