At just 21 years of age, Amy Viner has already delivered on some ultra memorable performances. That being said, she showed recently that she has been getting back to work, and is looking to make some big improvements.

In a short amount of time, Viner has already proven herself to be an unbelievably talented young prospect. Competing in the 57kg division, she has taken part in just five meets, only coming in first place in to of those. However the 2019 British Junior Classic Powerlifting Championships really saw her turn a corner, as she set a new world record with her 413lb deadlift.

Well from there, Amy Viner is looking to continue improving and evolving. She took to her Instagram recently to show that she had been taking some time off, but was back in the lab. She made quite the statement with her training too, going for five reps on a 352lb deadlift, as well as a 259lb squat triple.

” I’ve been a bit MIA on here this past month as I took a few weeks off training
Getting back into it has been HARD and this is far from my best in terms of weight and form but I’m posting this for accountability and to track my progress in these coming months
Deadlift 5s at 160kg
Squat triple at 117.5kg
(Both nearly 20kg off my best)”

Viner was dismissive of how impressive this performance was, but it was a really solid showing. Especially when considering the fact it has been over a month since the last time we saw her in action. Not only that, but the raw numbers that she put up was better than that last training session she shared.

At the end of the day, Amy Viner seems to be improving her game at every turn. It is important to take some time away for some people, in order to stay motivated and not get burned out. Now that she is back, it will be exciting to see her continue to grow.
