The 2022 Arnold Classic is here, and tons of action is headed your way in Columbus, Ohio this weekend. Plenty of athletes who reached the podium from last year’s Fitness International division are back and vying for gold.
Missy Truscott returns at the 2022 Arnold Classic and is looking to pick up her third straight title in the Fitness International division. Truscott made a name for herself after nailing first place at 2020 Olympia and the 2020 Arnold Classic. Truscott’s career has seen incredible heights in a short amount of time. She gathered momentum quickly in 2021 after defending her title at the Arnold. Her bodybuilding efforts didn’t stop there though as she also took part in 2021 Mr. Olympia and placed in second this time.
2021 Arnold Classic third-place finisher Ariel Khadr will also take part in the show as she looks to pick up her first title. There is definite hype surrounding Ariel Khadr after a solid season. In 2021, she came in third place at the Arnold Classic in the fitness division. The bodybuilder followed it up with a fourth-place performance at 2021 Olympia, the same placement as her 2020 Olympia showing.
With major players like Jaclyn Baker in the picture, the lineup looks stellar. Jacklyn nearly found herself on the podium in 2021. She came in fourth at the 2021 Arnold and got fifth at 2021 Olympia in the fitness division. With so many competitors with on-stage experience, the show promises to be an exciting one.
Last call out saw Missy Truscott and Ariel Khadr face off on stage against each other. Interestingly, this was the same pair of bodybuilders that made the final call out at the 2021 Arnold Classic. As it stands, Truscott and Khadr are leading the show, but some believe Jaclyn Baker could re-enter the picture when the finals go down.
