While the annual Arnold Sports Festival that takes place in Ohio every March was postponed due to the Covid-19 health crisis, 2017 Strongest World’s Strongest Man champion and event promoter Eddie Hall just shared some exciting news on Instagram that may ease things a little.
The inaugural Arnold Classic UK bodybuilding show will apparently be coming to the Arnold Festival UK in Birmingham NEC, October 1-3, 2021. The event will also be a 2022 Olympia qualifier.
Here’s what Hall wrote on Instagram regarding the event…
“Proud to announce that the Arnold Classic UK bodybuilding competition is coming to the Arnold Sports Festival UK!”

This event will go down literally just a few days before the 2021 Olympia competition that brings the biggest athletes, figures, and crowds together every fall. Although, this year’s Olympia event was pushed back a month and there were many changes due to the health situation.

But regarding the UK competition, according to the Arnold Sports Festival website, Eddie Hall and founder of “An Experience With” Stephen Olexy have joined the iconic Arnold Schwarzenegger to bring the Arnold Sports Festival to the UK.
The event will also feature competitions from multiple sports that include bodybuilding, Giants Live, MMA, boxing, arm wrestling, gymnastics, X-Fit, BMX, and much more.
In addition, 2 Bros Pro Events has partnered with the Arnold Sports Festival to bring an amateur IFBB Professional league qualifying event.
“The hiatus is finally over. The prestigious Arnolds Sports Festival UK will now Include an IFBB Professional League Pro Qualifying Event brought to you by the one and only @2brospro_events with @arnoldsportsuk”
They also added:
“With Pro Shows soon to be announced, the ultimate dream can now become a reality. Athletes will have the opportunity to step on stage as an amateur, qualify as a pro and return to the stage that evening with the chance to be crowned ‘The Arnold’s Classic UK Champion’. Moreover, The Arnolds Classic UK Champion, will also qualify for the 2022 Mr Olympia, a title, Arnold himself claimed an incredible 7 times.”
As noted in the post, this will be a big opportunity for competitors of all levels to be awarded a trophy at a prestigious event.
