Bang’s CEO Jack Owoc wrote a lengthy Instagram post to negate any claims against his company after Monster filed a lawsuit accusing Bang Energy of false advertising and business malfeasance… while calling one of the products with creatine in it “a hoax” and saying there’s no creatine in it.

“BANG CRUSHING MONSTER!
Monster Energy Drink recently amended its frivolous and meritless lawsuit against VPX and I complaining about Bang energy’s significant market growth. Monster’s legal complaint is similar to a three-year-old toddler crying out to their mother for help. It’s not only embarrassing it’s downright pathetic. HELP ME MOMMY, BANG IS TAKING ALL OF OUR BUSINESS.”
Bang’s CEO claims Monster filed the lawsuit because they’re losing business to the newer company and then he filed his own lawsuit against Monster Energy for copyright infringement after Monster was accused of pirating Bang’s “body fuel” catchphrase. Bang also accused Monster of creating the knockoff product “Reign” creating unfair competition.
Stay tuned to see how the legal battle between the two energy drink giants unfolds.
