Blessing Awodibu admits the fact that his legs are the weakest part of his physique and has attributed this to focus on the upper body in the past. Awodibu’s first opportunity to compete at a Pro show showed up in the form of the 2020 Arnold Classic Australia. However, the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent travel restrictions stripped him of the opportunity.

Blessing Awodibu eventually made his professional bodybuilding debut at the 2021 IFBB Indy Pro that took place in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 8th, 2021 and finished third. Awodibu next competed at the 2021 New York Pro and developed a fierce rivalry with Nick Walker heading into the competition. The duo traded a lot of jabs on social media. Unfortunately, the rivalry did not culminate into a showdown. While Nick Walker went on to win the competition, Blessing Awodibu was placed sixth. The standing led to Awodibu taking extended time off from competition to improve his physique. however, the timeline for his return is not yet known.

Blessing Awodibu has gained a lot of fame and popularity even without having competed for an extended period of time due to his social media endeavors. The 30-year-old has 1.7 million Instagram followers through his hilarious gym sketches and has built a massive fan base.
