The 2025 Pittsburgh Pro has the ingredients to turn into a one-of-a-kind bodybuilding event. Recently, on April 24, 2025, Chris Cormier, Dennis James, and Milos Sarcev convened to discuss their top six official picks for the competition.

The lineup is as strong as ever. Former two-division Mr. Olympia champ Derek Lunsford will make a splash, guided by his new coach Chris Aceto. Nick Walker‘s eager to reestablish himself as a top contender to win the Olympia. This will be his first contest since pulling out of the 2024 Mr. Olympia after admitting that his body wouldn’t respond to preparations.

Meanwhile, surging threat Martin Fitzwater will make his way onstage with credible momentum after picking up fourth place in his debut at the Olympia last year. In addition to those contenders, fans expect others like William Bonac, Michal Krizanek, and Ugolnikov ‘Good Vito’ Vitalii to make statements at what’s being hailed as “the show of the year.”

Ahead of the showdown, Walker, despite falling out of favor with fans after his Olympia withdrawal, is brimming with confidence. He recently stated that he can beat everyone in the lineup and has pushed his chips all-in to pursue a ticket to the 2025 Mr. Olympia contest. However, Lunsford has argued he’s seen holes in Walker’s physique and plans to expose them when they take to the stage.

Lunsford said a win at the Pittsburgh Pro would make for a historical moment in bodybuilding, but he’ll have one of the deepest rosters to contend with in just a few weeks.  The 2025 Pittsburgh Pro is set for May 10-11, and Fitness Volt will have live coverage of the action. Best of all, it will give fans a clear idea of who might walk away with gold at the Mr. Olympia event on the horizon.
