The outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus has been causing increasing concerns amongst governments. Now several states are looking at making serious changes, which will affect those looking to hit the gym.

In case you have been living under a rock, coronavirus is a highly infectious disease, that has been rapidly spreading across the globe. Although the severity of it is the cause of much debate, there is no question that it has become a growing global concern. As a result, it has caused major sporting events to shut down, or be postponed.

Now several government agencies have been taking severe action, in order to limit the spread of this disease. Largely, this involves social distancing, which stops unnecessarily interacting in public settings. Moreover, it has been suggested that those showing symptoms stay indoors to the best of their ability.

However, several states have decided to take things up a notch. It has been reported that as of last night, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut will be collaborating to help lower the spread of this highly infected region. In order to do so, they have put some serious restrictions, regarding public places.

-Gyms closed
-Movie theaters closed
-Casinos closed”

This is a measure, which is being adopted by other states as well. It makes sense too, as these are all the perfect environments for spreading germs. Nevertheless, it is certainly frustrating for those who are regular gym-goers in this area.
